Joyce Ralstin, CPC, CCS-P, PMCC-Certified Instructor

As a Training and Resource Specialist with Bill Dunbar and Associates, (BDA), Joyce Ralstin has 25 years experience in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining BDA, Ms. Ralstin served as Billing and Coding Specialist for a large multi-specialty hospital organization employing over 200 physicians.

Additionally, Ms. Ralstin was responsible for starting The Center for Billing and Coding Education through the hospital network which focused training on appropriate physician documentation and staff billing and coding practices.

She has the following certifications:

• Certified Coding Specialist Physician Based (CCS-P) from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA)
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC)
• Certified Medical Professional Coding Curriculum Instructor (PMCC) from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC)

Ms. Ralstin has been a national speaker for the National Association of Occupational Health Professionals (NAOHP) and the Urgent Care Association of America (UCAOA).
