The Urgent Care Association of America (UCAOA) was founded in 2004 by urgent care leaders to fill a need in the professional field for an association that existed not only to encourage and facilitate the development and success of urgent care centers, physicians and the industry, but to do so as a representative of its members.
The Association serves on a national and international scope, joining together the over 17,000 urgent care centers in the USA and additional centers across the world including centers in Ireland and Jerusalem.
UCAOA provides educational programs in clinical care and the business side of urgent care, sponsors the nation’s first urgent care fellowships, provides accreditation to qualifying member sites, delivers timely articles and insights on industry trends and maintains an active online forum for daily exchange of best practices among members.
